Govt. is delaying public vaccination when India records the highest Covid cases

The much awaited Covid vaccine finally arrived in January and the first phase is done with giving the vaccine to healthcare workers. Govt. has now announced the second phase of vaccine to be given to pregnant ladies and children. This is a sign of relief for people as pregnant ladies and children are more prone to get Coronavirus and it’s harmful for them. But what about other people? Everyone has their own immunity system, some are strong enough to handle any kind of illness and some cannot even survive high fever.

On one side govt. is delaying the date of vaccination drive and on other hand India is recording new cases everyday and there is also a fear of mutant strain of the coronavirus. If the vaccine is out and partial curfew is also lifted in the country then there is definitely an urgent need for the vaccine to be given to the general population to stop the outbreak of the virus which is happening in many states of the country.

Beside this, people are now going out at market places, weddings, parties, vacation and to malls. In this scenario people’s lives are at high risk. Central government should fasten the process of vaccination drive and rollout among the general public.

The death toll has also increased in the past few days with 101 new deaths daily fatalities. Share your views regarding delay in the vaccination process and problems facing the public in the comment section below.
