So the Indian National Congress is again in buzz for making another blunder. Puducherry Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy recently visited a seaside site along with Rahul Gandhi to talk to fishermen community and understand their problems. During the conversation a fisherwoman complained in Tamil “He (CM Narayanasamy) is here. Did he visit us during Cyclone?” It was definitely not a good complained to be listen but the Puducherry CM falsely translated the message to Gandhi and said that the lady is praising the government’s efforts during the cyclone and quoted that she is saying “during the Nivar cyclone, I came and visited the area and gave relief to them.”
The incident caught limelight and became a trend on Twitter. Union textile minister Smriti Irani and Union minister for fisheries, animal husbandry and dairying, Giriraj Singh took a dig at CM’s comment and tweeted in Italian saying Wayanad MP is trying to spread misinformation.
Surely, this is the worst representation of the local people who couldn’t speak in Hindi or English and cannot be done by any person especially by a political leader. Neither I nor you are happy to hear such a pathetic response by a ruling party of the state. If such are our leaders then definitely we have to think twice before giving our valuable vote to a political party.
Don’t just follow a political party blindly, make a sharp decision and choose the person wisely. Comment your views about the incident and share any such incident that happened with you.
